On Screen Update!

October 8, 2020 – Control4 has announced that the first update to the on screen display (OSD) is being rolled out in the next week.  This is the first such update which does not require a complete OS update and which happens automatically. It will happen for customers who are already running OS 3.1.3 and will add thermostat control back to the OSD.

For systems with a smart thermostat installed, you will be able to see the current temperature, change the setpoint, mode, fan state, and more.

For owners of NEEO remotes, you are already used to these incremental improvements which happen without an OS update.  Now, it is starting to happen for everyone who takes advantage of the OSD (assuming they are on at least OS 3.1.3).  If you are not using OS3 or if you haven’t had us update your system to 3.1.3 yet, give us a call at 256-467-6314 so we can schedule an upgrade for your system.
