Composer Home Edition Issue

From Control4 on June 22, 2018:  As we have mentioned previously, Control4 has been experiencing an issue with the security certificate in Composer Home Edition (Composer HE), which has been preventing your customers from accessing and programing their Control4 system using Composer HE.

We have resolved the issue for customers on OS 2.6.0* or later, and it will require they download a new version of Composer HE and then patch their Windows PC.

We have created detailed instructions in this PDF for customers and we have sent the instructions to any customer with a Composer HE license on OS 2.6.0 or later.

We are still working on a resolution for customers prior to OS 2.6.0 and will send an update as soon as it is ready.

*If your customer is currently running software from OS 2.6.0 to OS 2.9.0, you will need to update their system to at least OS 2.9.1 first, and then download the Composer HE version that matches your new software version.
